Please, Sir, I'd Like Some More

A video posted by Golden State Warriors (@warriors) on

This is preseason? It's like they never stopped playing. It kind of feels that way.

That was a short offseason. It seems like just yesterday that Stephen Curry left Matthew Dellavedova (sorry, Delly) on the floor and hit that three in Cleveland. I guess that is the norm when you are in the Finals.

This short turnaround has been odd for the long-tortured Warriors fans.... and we want more. Of course, the fans and organization that finally wins wants to do it again.

Is that too much to ask? If you are in Cleveland, probably. But in all reality, the Warriors were probably ahead of schedule.

Outside of the organization itself, I don't think there were many people who thought the Warriors could win the title last season. There were still the Spurs, Thunder, Clippers, and, of course, [insert LeBron's team here].

Things fell perfectly. Steve Kerr was the strategic mind the team needed. Curry and Klay Thompson really did become the most lethal backcourt in the game. Andre Iguodala took to his sixth man role well and was instrumental as the leader of the second unit. Andrew Bogut stayed relatively healthy.

No one could have expected them to run away from teams like they did in the regular season. What warmed my heart was seeing the Warriors embarrass an LA team. Well, Steph embarrass an LA team with moments like this:

Or how he did the whole team like this:

And it always helps to have some family support:

It also encourages me that so many NBA players have vocalized their honest thoughts about how the Warriors got "lucky" when they won their championship by not facing the Spurs, Clippers, or a healthy Cavs team and how so many say they have to win another to validate it.

Did Dallas? Doesn't LeBron have to win one without Dwyane Wade to validate his two titles? Detroit in 2004? I didn't think so.

Way to motivate a team that loves playing the underdog role. Draymond Green probably has those quotes taped in his locker. Steph might have them on his pregame mix.

Oh, I can't wait for this season to start tonight.
